Spring has arrived in most of Japan, but winter lovers can still find a place in the country to continue enjoying snowy views.
The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route partially opened to visitors on Monday. Along the route, tourists can travel between snow walls up to 15 meters high. The curving snowy corridor runs for about 500 meters.
The alpine route itself was opened in 1971 and attracts about a million visitors every year.
