Chinese President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart Donald Trump have exchanged views on the DPRK issue over the phone.

During the conversation, President Xi said positive changes could be seen, and called for efforts to maintain the easing of tensions and to create conditions to restart the six-party talks. He also stressed the importance of unity on the issue. President Trump himself expressed willingness to work with China. The two presidents also discussed bilateral high-level exchanges and economic and trade cooperation.
