Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn is in Egypt for talks regarding his country's controversial Blue Nile River dam project.
The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam has been under construction since 2011, and the country is counting on it to power a massive hydro-electric plant which it hopes can support its economy. However, Egypt, which is further downstream, says the dam will disrupt the flow of the world's longest river and threaten the country's water security.
