The Israeli government has ordered thousands of African asylum seekers to leave the country or face imprisonment.
Israeli authorities are offering 3-thousand and 5-hundred US dollars to people who leave in the next 90 days. They say anyone who remains in April will be jailed. The order exempts children, the elderly and victims of slavery and human trafficking. About 38-thousand Africans are seeking asylum in Israel. Human right groups are calling for the government to withdraw the decision.
