Five Chinese nationals kidnapped on Wednesday in Johannesburg, South Africa were successfully rescued under the joint efforts of Chinese and South African police on Saturday, according to the police section of the Chinese Embassy to South Africa.
Fujian Municipal Public Security Bureau, Gauteng police, Johannesburg Chinatown district-office and Chinese Community Police Forum all contributed to resolving the case.
Police are still hunting for the suspects behind the kidnapping.
