Time for tennis and the Shenzhen Open here in China where local favourite Duan Ying Ying was up against the world number one from Romania, Simona Halep, with a spot in the quarter-finals on the line. A win here for Halep would also ensure her the top seed at the upcoming Australian Open.
That's Duan serving, and her aggressive play won her the first set 6-3, but Halep would turn the tables to take the second 6-1.
Duan would be hampered by a leg injury later in the match and Halep would go on to claim the third 6-2 to book her spot in the last eight against Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus.
Now we've got the defending champion, Katerina Siniakova, against China's Wang Yafan. And the Czech player would take a 3-0 lead in the first set.
But Wang would win the next four games in a row, only to see Sinakova claim the frame 7-5. And the Czech would turn it up in the second set and go on to win it 6-3 which sees her advance to the quarter-finals.
