Korean Peninsula Diplomacy: Chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification to lead DPRK delegation

The DPRK has informed South Korea that Ri Son-gwon, the country's point man on inter-Korean affairs, will lead a delegation of five to attend Tuesday's talks with Seoul.
Ri is the chairman of the DPRK's Committee for the Peaceful Reunification. He has taken part in inter-Korean military talks since 2006. The other four delegates include a vice chairman of the unification committee, a deputy minister of physical culture and sports, and delegates from the country's Olympic committee.
