Thai PM Visits US: Prayut Chan-o-cha meets President Trump

Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has met with US President Donald Trump at the White House. Prayut said Thailand will strengthen cooperation with the US, and Trump suggested reducing the US trade deficit with Thailand.

Prayut will stay in the US for three days. This is his first official visit to Washington after taking power in a 2014 military takeover.
