Afghan security forces have regained control of Kabul's Intercontinental Hotel, more than 12 hours after gunmen stormed the building.
At least five civilians were killed in the attack. Eight others were wounded. The interior ministry said that all three gunmen were killed. Earlier this week, the US embassy warned of attacks on hotels in Afghanistan's capital. No one has claimed responsibility for the killings.
