Kremlin on Monday denied hacking Danish authorities following Denmark denounced Moscow's "aggressive" behavior as a report accused Russia of spying on the Danish Defense Ministry's email accounts, Reuters reported.
The report, published on Sunday by the Center for Cyber Security, accused Russian hackers of breaking into the emails of defense ministry employees in 2015 and 2016. "The hacked emails don't contain military secrets, but it is of course, serious," Danish Defense Minister Claus Hjort Frederiksen said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed allegations that Russia had hacked the Danish Defense Ministry. "Russia as a state does not do hacking attacks," Peskov responded on Monday.

The Center for Cyber Security said earlier this year that the threat against Danish authorities and companies remained "very high".
Sputnik news agency reported earlier on Monday saying no evidence provided proved this report, and this is not the first time Frederiksen spoke out against Russia, as he claimed Russia to be the “greatest threat to Denmark’s security” earlier this year.
