A two-year-old Chinese toddler and his parents were attacked with a “noxious substance” on the streets of London on Saturday, according to the BBC.
The family was attacked with what was believed to be acid in Islington, north London.
The 40-year-old father suffered “life-changing” but not life-threatening injuries after the attack and his wife and baby boy suffered minor injuries, local media reported citing police.
The family was walking on the street in Islington, the baby in a stroller, when a man approached them and threw liquid acid in the father’s face.
They were treated on a bench by paramedics before being transferred to hospital.
In a statement, authorities said the victims “were found with injuries consistent with a noxious substance, believed to be an acid”, reported UK’s The Independent.
