Alaska Earthquake: Authorities lift tsunami warnings for California, Canada

The US has cancelled tsunami warnings for the states of California and Hawaii, as well as Canada's Pacific coast. A powerful 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Alaska early Tuesday, and tsunami warnings had been issued for parts of Alaska, the west coast of the US and Canada.
