The election of the sixth Legislative Assembly of China's Macao Special Administrative Region wrapped up on Monday morning.

Over 170-thousand people or more than half of eligible voters cast their ballots. The new legislature is composed of 33 seats, including 14 directly-elected seats, and 12 indirectly-elected seats. The seven others will be appointed by the region's chief executive. Their term of office will start next month.
