Kickstarter-funded Senstone is a small pendant that records your voice and syncs with your phone or tablet to transcribe it as text. The Kickstarter-funded jewelry-based gizmo was devised by a team of programmers in the Ukrainian cities of Lviv and Kiev.
With a diameter of just 3 centimeters, the portable Senstone will take the transcriptions and sort them into topics created by the owner. The device recognizes 12 languages, including Ukrainian and English.
It works by users pressing a button on the Senstone, with a series of tiny LEDs flashing to indicate that recording is taking place. Pressing the button again terminates the recording and the LEDs stop flashing accordingly.
According to a review by PC Mag published last month, the Senstone has a planned retail price of 109 US dollars.
