National Basketball Association: Indiana 109 - Milwaukee 96
[]
We're back with basketball from the NBA with the Indiana Pacers at home to the Milwaukee Bucks. Indiana ended a five-game losing streak by beating Chicago on Saturday and were looking to make it back to back victories by taking down the dangerous Bucks.
It's tied at 10 four and a half minutes into the first quarter until Bojan Bogdanovic hits this three to put the Pacers on top.
Late in the period, Lance Stephenson strips the ball and then goes behind his back to TJ Leaf for the left-handed lay-up. Pacers would end the quarter up 37-16. Lance loving it.
Second quarter and Domantas Sabonis somehow converts this alley-oop. Indiana leads by 25.
Miwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo would have a miserable first half scoring only seven points. The Greek Freak cans the jumper and later finishes with 17 points.
With about four minutes to go in the third quarter, Victor Oladipo slices in then finds Darren Collison whose triple makes it 83-54 for the hosts.
Then in the final seconds of the quarter, Oladipo steps back for the delightful deuce. He would end the game with 15 points.
The Pacers keep it going in the fourth as Sabonis knocks down three of his team-high 17 points.
And Indiana go on to win 109-96 for their second straight victory.
Elsewhere, Toronto got 35 from Demar Derozan but lost Kyle Lowry to injury in their overtime win, Anthony Davis scored 30, but also got injured as New Orleans beat Detroit, Houston topped Chicago, Minnesota crushed Cleveland who only got ten points from Lebron James, 31 points from Lamarcus Aldridge helped the Spurs win, and Steph Curry dropped 32 in Golden State's win over Denver.
