We begin in Beijing, where General Secretary Xi Jinping has hosted the second meeting of the Presidium of the 19th CPC National Congress in the Great Hall of the People.

 

Liu Yunshan -- the secretary general of the congress -- listed the nominees for membership and alternate membership of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the nominees for membership of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. Meanwhile, the meeting approved to submit to the delegations the draft resolution on the 18th Central Committee's working report, the draft resolution on the 18th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection's working report, and the draft resolution on the amendments to the CPC's Constituiton. It also approved the nominee list for the scrutineers and the total scrutineer.
