The death toll in a hotel fire in east China’s Jiangxi Province has climbed to 10, the local government said on Saturday afternoon.
The fire broke out in the HNA Hotel Platinum Mix in Nanchang, capital of east China's Jiangxi Province, at around 8:22 a.m. local time Saturday.

Seven people who are suspected of being responsible for the fire have been detained by police.
Initial reports indicated that the flames were triggered by a trash fire during welding. The investigation is still underway.
