More from the pitch which is a place sprint legend Usain Bolt still hopes to be one day if the Jamaican's dream of becoming a professional footballer comes true when he undergoes a trial at German top-flight club Borussia Dortmund. However, the eight-time Olympic champion admitted that he would prefer to play for Manchester United, his favourite team.
In March, the 31-year-old will do a trial with Dortmund that will determine the next step in his hopeful football career. The world record holder in the 100 and 200 meters told the Sunday Express he will play if the team says he's good. Bolt admits that he feels nervous now and it will take time for him to raise his level to that of the pro game, but he's also confident that his one-of-a-kind athletic ability can be made use of in the beautiful game. The Jamaican, shown here with a special Man United shirt, dreams of joining the Red Devils and has often voiced his ambition since retiring from track and field after last year's London World Championships, which left a gaping hole in athletics that may never be filled.
