Seven bathrooms with a total of 86 toilet cubicles in the departure hall of Tokyo's Narita International Airport have been installed with wall-mounted tissue rollers for smartphones. /VCG Photo

The dispensers are placed next to the usual toilet paper rolls and look like mini rolls. Passengers can use the paper to wipe their phones. Instructions on how to connect a phone to the airport's WiFi are written alongside a welcome message on the paper. /VCG Photo

Smartphone screens can carry five times more germs than a toilet seat, according to the phone company behind the initiative. /VCG Photo

The paper is offered by NTT Docomo, Japan's largest mobile operator. It will be available until March 15. /VCG Photo
