China has responded to the latest report from the US Department of Commerce that the US trade deficit with China dropped by 28% in February compared to the same period last year. On Thursday, China’s commerce ministry said it has never pursued a trade surplus against the US.
Sun Jiwen, spokesperson of China's Ministry of Commerce, said that the imbalance of trade between China and the US is attributed by the differences in economic structures, industry competitiveness, and international industry division.
