China, Greece agree to enhance cultural exchanges

China and Greece have inaugurated the Cultural Exchanges and Cultural Industry Cooperation Year in Athens. The event is part of their efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
Greek Culture Minister Lydia Koniordou said this is another significant step in the strategic collaboration between Beijing and Athens. During the ceremony, two memoranda of understanding on film co-production and publishing of literary works were signed. Two exhibitions of Chinese art were also opened during the ceremony.
