More than 25 years after the animated hit "Beauty and the Beast" first hit theaters, a new live-action adaptation of the fairy tale is coming to cinemas in China.

Beauty and the Beast tells the story of Belle who, upon leaving her quiet village, is taken prisoner by the Beast in exchange for the freedom of her father. But during her captivity, Belle befriends the castle's enchanted staff and begins to learn about the Beast's true nature.
"Beauty and the Beast" will hit cinemas across China on March 17.
