Turkey has urged the United States to withdraw personnel from the Kurdish-held town of Manjib in northern Syria.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to expand into this area its ongoing offensive against the Kurish militia, the YPG, which Washington says it will stop arming. Manjib is east of the Afrin enclave where Turkey launched its operation against the YPG on January 20th.
