Dakar Series China Rally: Han Wei & Liao Min win stage five
[]
We head to Inner Mongolia for stage five of the Dakar Series China Rally. The SMG buggy of China's Han Wei and Liao Min would be on point in this leg, which also saw a change at the top of the standings, with new leaders emerging.

The opening part of the stage is contested in the same spot as stage 4, with drivers going over many dune crossings. Some parts of this phase have never been explored by a cross country rally in China.

This is China's Han Wei and Liao Min in their SMG buggy. They would finish first in this portion of the race. Eight seconds behind are the South African pairing of Giniel de Villiers and Dirk von Zitzewitz in their Toyota.

Tao Yongming and Miao Jinhua finish third, closely followed by Zi Yungang and Wang Zengrong, aboard their SMG buggy. And after this stage, we have new leaders as de Villiers and von Zitzewitz move to the top of the standings, overtaking Zi and Wang. Stage six is set for later today -- and will cover 328 km.
