Over the past several days, Davos saw its heaviest snowfall in nearly two decades.
The snowfall has hampered the arrival of those taking part at the the annual World Economic Forum. Over the last six days, about 160 centimeters of snow fell on Davos, threatening to block the landing of helicopters. Many participants planned to travel by train or shuttle bus. One delegate registered for the forum said it took two hours to drive a mere 12 kilometers within the area. Better weather is forecast for Tuesday.
