Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) ahead of the Summer Davos.
Premier Li hailed the theme of this year's event, which is "Achieving Inclusive Growth in the Fourth Industrial Revolution." He said China is carrying out supply-side reform, upgrading economic structure and boosting innovation, trying to create new engines for growth.
He also said China will cooperate with other countries to facilitate free trade and build a fair and just global economic system, to revive the world economy.
CGTN's Tian Wei also sat down with Schwab to talk about challenges facing the world today, such as Brexit, and how China's Belt and Road Initiative presents a new form of globalization.
