China Constitutional Amendment: CPC Central Committee adopts proposal for revision

The 19th Communist Party of China Central Committee has proposed to write Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into the Constitution. The communique was released on Friday after the committee's second plenary session. The proposal will be explained at the annual session of the National People's Congress in March, when a vote on legalizing the changes will be held.
