Syria Conflict: Syria condemns Turkish invasion of Kurdish-held Afrin

Syria's Foreign Ministry has condemned the Turkish invasion of Syrian territory.
The ministry denied Turkish claims that Ankara had informed Damascus about the attack beforehand. It said the Turkish attack was a violation of the Syrian sovereignty, and urged the international community to take measures to stop the operation immediately.
