Four Abu Sayyaf terrorists surrendered to the Philippine military in Basilan Province and three others gave in to the Philippine Marine corps on Sunday, according to CCTV reporter Huang Zhengzheng, citing Captain Jo-Ann Petinglay, Western Mindanao Command spokesperson.
"But the martial law declaration made them more fearful for their safety as soldiers can already knock at their doorstep without the necessary warrants," said Petinglay.
