India Stampede: At least 22 killed, dozens injured on Mumbai railway footbridge

Turning to India, where authorities have ordered an investigation into a stampede which killed at least 22 people and injured dozens more at a Mumbai railway station.
Railway officials said Friday's stampede at the city's central Elphinstone station occurred after commuters raced to a narrow footbridge to escape a sudden monsoon downpour. A Mumbai police official, however, said falling concrete hit a part of the bridge railing, prompting panic among the crowd.
