Entrepreneurs make up a significant portion of the delegation at the 19th CPC national congress. Many of them expressed enthusiasm for the government's support of entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. Our biz anchor Tracey Chang files this report from the Great Hall of the People.
TRACEY CHANG BEIJING Before the start of the 19th CPC nation congress, in late September, central authorities released a guideline on encouraging entrepreneurial spirit and creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurship.
The guide line promised that the government will protect the legal rights and interests of entrepreneurs, ensure fair competition and strengthen protection of intellectual property rights.
At the 19th CPC National Congress, entrepreneur delegates spoke about their thoughts on the guideline and the promotion of "entrepreneurial spirit".

Despite a challenging global business environment, many entrepreneurs are optimistic about the future, with many expecting innovation to be the main engine to drive growth.
ZHANG RUIMIN, CEO HAIER GROUP Now is the best time for innovation. It is because we are approaching the internet era together. We can even surpass the people we use to emulate after. I think we have to become leaders in the next 5 years.
LIU ZICAI CPC DELEGATE General Secretary Xi said in the report that innovation is the main driver for growth. I am a regular worker, I have a very deep understanding of how important innovation is. Robotics and automation have greatly improved the quality of our work and the safety of our work environment.
China's entrepreneurial spirit runs deeper than just in business. The 19th CPC national congress has championed a new concept of innovation, coordination, green development, opening up as well as supply-side structural reform, and the Chinese entrepreneurial spirit is power engine that fuels all those initiatives.
