Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is scheduled to visit Germany and Belgium from Wednesday through Friday. The Foreign Ministry said the aim of the visit is to strengthen mutual trust between China and Europe.
During his visit to Germany, Li will meet President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and attend a meeting with chancellor, Angela Merkel. Li and Merkel will also attend a China-Germany innovation forum.
In Belgium, Li is scheduled to attend the 19th China-EU leaders’ meeting in Brussels. He will also take part in a China-EU business summit and a dialogue on innovation cooperation. Li is also set to meet King Philippe and hold talks with Prime Minister Charles Michel.
