Some abducted Chibok schoolgirls refused to be freed

Some of the Chibok girls kidnapped by Boko Haram in Nigeria refused to be freed after three years in captivity, a local lawyer has said, fueling fears that they may have been radicalized by the jihadists.
Boko Haram kidnapped 200 schoolgirls in April 2014 from northeast Nigeria. It released 82 of them last week in exchange for prisoners.
The lawyer said some of the girls may feel too ashamed or afraid to return to their old lives.
