The Consumer Electronics Show in Asia, or CES Asia, showcased the latest in global tech innovation to the Asian marketplace in Shanghai this week, with more than 450 exhibitors from around the world attending the three-day event from Wednesday to Friday.
Chinese firms, including Huawei, JD.com, and DJI were among the big names presenting their latest products to reach consumers, along with a designated show area for local and foreign innovative start-ups. In total, 19 categories of consumer electronic products, including smart devices, wearable gears, drones and robotics were presented at this year's CES Asia.

Here are some new tech highlights:
LOOCK - FASTEST SMART LOCK

A Beijing-based company named LOOCK has introduced fingerprint sensors into its electronic door locks that can be monitored via an app. This allows users to know when and who unlocks the door, or even who just stays in front of the door.
JD.COM - SMART FRIDGE

Embracing the Internet of Things boom, JD.com has become the latest Internet and software giant to place bets on the kitchen. A brand new smart fridge is being introduced by the Chinese e-commerce giant. An exterior screen shows real-time pictures of what is inside. It will also notify users if stocks run low, and users can touch the screen to place orders and monitor where their packages are located.
DJI – DRONE “SPARK”

A new small drone by DJI named Spark is pushing users’ boundaries even further to seize the moment. It halves the size and weight of the Chinese brand’s already slim Mavic, but still carries a full payload of its advanced sensors, stabilizers, and camera.
POWER VISION – POWERRAY UNDERWATER DRONE

Before this robot, you may have never thought about getting that shot under water. The underwater drone called PowerRay can dive 30 meters and capture real-time 4K video. An upgraded version can be used as a fish finder.
COWA ROBOT – SMART SUITCASE R1

Technology follows you, and one smart device does that literally. Once paired with its wristband, this smart luggage, produced by a Shanghai-based company named Cowa Robot, will hang next to the user with ease thanks to a built-in sensor, making it a completely hands-free experience for travelers when heading to their airport gate for a getaway.
'Made in China' at CES ASIA 2017
Among the 450 exhibitors at the show this year, Chinese companies sought to rebuild the image of “Made in China” for the rest of the world with the latest technology and innovative products.
Chinese entrepreneurs said they can transform ”Made in China” into a powerful name with innovation and true value. They are also prepared for global competition, they said..
