Extremely rare Indochinese tiger population discovered in Thailand

Scientists have hailed the discovery of a new population of endangered Indochinese tigers, recently found in a national park in eastern Thailand.
The sub-species has almost been driven to extinction due to poaching and habitat losses. The tiger lives mostly in Thailand and Myanmar. Experts estimate there are fewer than 250 left in the wild.
