Pyeongchang Olympics: IOC: Joint Korean team to march at opening ceremony

We begin in the Swiss city of Lausanne - where South Korean and DPRK delegates met with Olympic officials to hash out details of Pyongyang's participation in the Winter Games. The president of the International Olympic Committee expressed gratitude to both countries for coming together.
THOMAS BACH PRESIDENT, INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE "For the first time in Olympic history, the two Korea teams reunite to compete as one team in a sport. The unified women's ice hockey team will be represented by the Korean Unification flag and will compete as Korea with the anthem being the song 'Arirang'."
Both teams are expected to march together in the opening ceremony. A total of 22 athletes from the DPRK will compete in the Winter Games in five disciplines including ice hockey, figure skating and Alpine skiing. The DPRK will also send nearly 50 officials and media representatives when the Olympics begin February 9th.
