The Queen, Prince William visit Grenfell Tower survivors

The Queen and Prince William visited survivors of the Grenfell Tower blaze at a rest center on Friday, the BBC reported.

The two royals visited the Westway Sports Center near the ruins of the tower block, which is offering help to those affected by the fire. They spoke to volunteers, local residents and community representatives.

The Queen paid tribute to the "bravery" of the firefighters who tackled the blaze and praised the "incredible generosity" of volunteers who have offered assistance, according to BBC.

"I'll come back," said the Duke of Cambridge when leaving, reported Metro newspaper.

Prime Minister Theresa May is also expected to visit those injured in the fire, Reuters reported on Friday, after being criticized for visiting the site without meeting with residents.
