The European Union has held talks with Iran to reaffirm support for the Iran nuclear deal. It is on the eve of a deadline for the US president to decide whether to reimpose oil sanctions lifted under the agreement. The meeting included representatives from Iran, Britain, France, and Germany, and was convened by the EU's top diplomat Federica Mogherini. Mogherini said the Iran deal criticized by Donald Trump "is working". The European powers helped negotiate the 2015 accord in Vienna. They assure Tehran they remain committed to it. Tehran has always denied seeking nuclear arms.
