DPRK-South Korea Talks: US: Will not recognize any talks until Pyongyang stops nuclear tests

While responding to the re-establishment of the north-south hotline, US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley took a strong stance, saying the US will not recognize the DPRK's talks with any country, as long as its nuclear tests continue to threaten the region.
NIKKI HALEY US AMBASSADOR TO UN "We think we need to have them stop nuclear weapons. And they need to stop it now. So North Korea can talk with anyone they want but the US is not going to recognize it or acknowledge it until they agree to ban the nuclear weapons that they have."
