Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have reinstated flights to and from Tunisia. This follows a diplomatic spat, after the UAE applied a temporary travel ban on Tunisian women. Tunisian authorities have also announced the resumption of flights. Here's CGTN's Adnen Chaouachi with more from Tunis.
Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates have overcome the recent diplomatic crisis which erupted on December 22nd following the UAE's ban on Tunisian women and girls of all ages to take flights to Dubai.

A UAE Foreign Ministry communiqué said that Abu Dhabi has reinstated measures for flights between Tunis and Dubai after "the temporary measure" applied in recent days.
Experts believe that the de-escalation of the crisis after 2 weeks of tension between Tunis and Abu Dhabi is a wise decision because the 2 countries have always had very good political ties.
For its part, the Tunisian Ministry of Transport declared the resumption of flights by the Emirates airline to and from Tunisia. Many Tunisians have welcomed the decision and hailed the reaction of the Tunisian diplomacy.
