The last dress rehearsal for Russia's Victory Day Parade has taken place in Moscow’s Red Square ahead of Tuesday's main event.
It involved over 10,000 troops, some 114 modern arms and military hardware, and 72 aircraft. Some of the Russian army's most advanced equipment like the Tor-M2DT surface-to-air missile system and the T-72B3 tanks were displayed in public for the first time.
Russia celebrates Victory Day on May 9. It commemorates the Soviet Union’s defeat of Nazi Germany in the Second World War.
