Kontinental Hockey League: Helsinki Jokerit 4 - Kunlun Red Star 1
[]
We move to the ice now, as Kunlun Red Star would return to China for their first game of the new KHL season, as they hosted Helsinki Jokerit in Shanghai. Despite starting the season with an extend road trip the squad managed five wins in their opening seven contests.

We pick up the action scoreless in the second, and the visitors on the powerplay, Nicklas Jensen is allowed to walk in from the point and wire one home. 1-zip. Same score in the third, and the Jokers win a face-off in the offensive zone, Marko Anttila swats it past the keeper to make it 2-buzz. The hosts are able to trim the margin on a powerplay of their own -- as Pavel Vorobei one times a shot just inside the blue-line.

2-1 game thanks to that effort. But Antilla would score his second of the night as he is left alone at the side of the net. And Helsinki salt it away, scoring an empty-net goal, as Kunlun pulled the goalie for an extra attacker. Mike Keenan's squad see their four game win streak come to an end 4-1 the final.
