National Basketball Association: NBA to investigate rockets, clippers post-game events
[]
We return with the NBA, where the league is investigating an incident from last night's Houston Rockets, L.A. Clippers game. Following the home team's win, things got heated, with reports of several Rocket players going to the Clippers locker-room, possibly to start something. The game itself was feisty, as Blake Griffin at one point bumped Houston coach Mike D'Antoni. It was also the first game back in L-A for current Rocket, Chris Paul, and it was rumoured he did not leave on good terms. That seemed to be the case, as several Clippers seemed to yell at their former teammate during the game.
As for games from today, Anthony Davis went off for 45 points and 16 rebounds as New Orleans topped Boston in overtime, ending the Celtics 7-game win streak. Orlando put an end to Minnesota's five-game run, thanks to Evan Fournier's 32 points. Nikola Jokic had 29 points and 18 rebounds as Denver held on to beat Dallas. Damien Lillard hit for 31 points as Portland snapped a three-game slide by topping Phoenix. Devin Booker scored 43 in the loss.
