Taiwan Earthquake: Magnitude-6.4 quake hits eastern waters of Taiwan

A magnitude-6.4 earthquake jolted the waters of eastern Taiwan's Hualien county Sunday night. According to China's Earthquake Networks Center, the focus of the quake was is 10 kilometers underground. The earthquake center says it recorded a magnitude-4.7 tremor in the same region 40 minutes earlier.
