Beijing has improved its air quality and achieved its anti-pollution goal for 2017. The Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau announced on Wednesday that the average level for PM 2.5 particles was 58 micrograms per cubic meter, down 20.5 percent from the year before. The city also recorded drops in the levels of other major pollutants such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and PM 10 particles. Beijing enjoyed 226 "good air" days last year, that's 28 more days than in 2016.
