Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has held talks with US Vice President Mike Pence who's on a two-day visit to the country.
On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Pence as a "great friend". Palestinians are refusing to meet with the US vice president in protest at Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. This is Pence's third stop in a tour of the region that has also taken him to Egypt and Jordan. He's scheduled to visit the Western Wall in East Jerusalem and give a speech at Israel's parliament.
