A missile fired from Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula struck farmland near the border of Egypt and southern Israel on Monday, according to an official of the Israel Defense Forces.
The missile struck the Eshkol region at around 11:30 a.m. local time, damaging a greenhouse.
It caused no injuries, but a 50-year-old man who was nearby when it landed suffered an anxiety attack as a result of the strike, The Times of Israel reported.
Authorities are still searching the area.

This strike occurred the day before the Jewish holiday of Passover, during which time many Israelis will travel to the Sinai Peninsula.
Israel decided on Monday morning to close the Taba Crossing into Sinai and bar Israeli citizens from crossing until after the holiday, citing information about possible terrorist attacks. It also urged Israelis to return if they are in the Sinai Peninsula.
