Now we take a quick look at the joint military exercises held this year by the US and its close military ally South Korea. Over 30-thousand US military personnel took part in ground, air, naval and special operation exercises during "Foal Eagle" military drills this Spring. While, 20-thousand military personnel, participated in "Key Resolve" drills in March. Annual "Freedom Guardian" military exercises took place in August, after the DPRK threatened to attack targets near Guam.  230 aircraft are taking part in this week's "Vigilant Ace" military drills, which will focus on aerial warning capabilities.
