Vietnamese president arrives in Beijng for Belt and Road summit

Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang arrived at Beijing International Airport on Thursday to attend the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation to be held in the Chinese capital on May 14 and 15.
Twenty-nine heads of state and government will attend the forum, the highest-profile international meeting on the Belt and Road since President Xi Jinping raised the initiative in 2013.
China has been Vietnam's biggest trade partner for the past 13 years, while Vietnam has become China's largest trade partner among the ASEAN bloc.
