China and France established a comprehensive strategic partnership back in 2004. Let's take a look at some of the deals signed by the two countries in recent years.
In December, the two sides signed more than 70 agreements covering economic and financial cooperation. China promised to allow more French imports, and agreed to align its "Made in China 2025" strategy with France's "Industry of the Future" strategy.
Last February, they signed agreements on nuclear energy and science, and agreed to recognize each side's driving licenses. In July 2015, the two sides signed a multi-billion-dollar deal to build an aircraft plant in China, and agreed to launch a mutual fund for joint cooperation with third parties.
